Ah, spring. The season we all love to come out of our winter cocoon and welcome. The freshly grown flowers peeking out of their buds, the grass that is turning from green to brown, and the bunnies hopping around. It’s picturesque, and that’s what you should picture when you think of a spring color palette.

What I most associate with autumn is the crunch of fall leaves and how much more cozy and nostalgic things seem. The colors are warm, but so is the mood. When I think of an autumn palette, I think about that nostalgic glow that you can’t really identify, but it just makes you feel warm inside.

Think of it this way, those colors you usually associate with summer like the soft tan of the beach sand, the lemon yellow popsicles, the blue of the waves..that’s Summer.

I think we all know and understand what the season of winter is, but what does winter mean when you are talking about seasonal color analysis? Well, as far as colors go, it means these are colors you typically associate with winter, like deep or icy blues, black, white, etc.
